Terms and Conditions

1. About Sharework

Sharework is a Marketplace for Tech Partners. We connect Clients who have Ideas with Verified Experts for AI, Chatbot, Website/App and IT Support. We provide a platform to connect people. We do not do the tech work ourselves. The work contract is between Client and Expert. We are an intermediary platform.

2. Fees

For Clients:

• Registration: FREE
• Posting Project: FREE
• You pay only the project amount you agree with Expert.

For Providers / Experts:

• Registration Fee: Flat Rs. 49 one-time. For verification, profile listing and lifetime access to get projects. This fee is non-refundable once verification is started.
• Commission: Flat 5% on each project payment. Example: Project is Rs. 10,000. Our fee is Rs. 500. You get Rs. 9,500.

No other fees. No monthly fees. No hidden charges.

3. Strict No Contact Sharing & No Off-Platform Payment Policy - MOST IMPORTANT

To protect both Clients and Providers and to maintain platform safety:

• a) Clients and Providers must not share personal contact details or arrange payment outside Sharework. This includes a phone number, WhatsApp details, an email address, a personal social handle such as Instagram or LinkedIn, a prohibited contact link, a UPI or payment identifier, and a request to scan or share a QR code or to pay off the platform.
• An ordinary project or documentation link, a project ID, or an unrelated number is not automatically a violation.
• b) Communication must stay on Sharework chat. Project payments must go through Sharework Secure Escrow.
• c) If a message matches a safety rule, it can be rejected before delivery. The conversation can be blocked. Both the Client and the Provider can be placed on an immediate temporary safety hold while that incident is assessed. The hold is a precaution. It is not, by itself, a finding that both people committed the violation. Each person's own messages and evidence are assessed separately.
• d) A participant with no independent qualifying violation is restored within 24 hours, or earlier when the result is already clear. Restoring an account does not reopen the conversation.
• e) A clear share of a phone number, email address, or supported UPI identifier can permanently block the sender, whether the sender is the Client or the Provider. A contact request, a prohibited contact link, or a direct-payment phrase can reject the message, block the chat, and start the temporary hold. Those events do not, by themselves, permanently block an account. If both people independently break a rule, each event can receive its own outcome.
• f) Unclear evidence does not automatically become a permanent block. In that case the temporary holds are removed by the 24-hour deadline, the conversation can stay blocked, and the incident is kept for exception or appeal review.
• g) The chat safety system does not automatically forfeit the Rs. 49 fee, remove a verification badge, hold escrow funds, or collect the Rs. 50,000 amount in Clause 4. Support and appeals: support@thesharework.com.

4. Rules for Providers

• Paying Rs. 49 does not mean auto-verified. You must submit real details and real portfolio.
• If you submit fake details, Rs. 49 will not be refunded and account will be banned.
• If you meet a Client on Sharework, you cannot take them outside Sharework for 12 months. A breach can lead to a permanent ban and a claimed penalty of Rs. 50,000. The chat safety system in Clause 3 does not automatically collect that amount.
• No pirated software or copied code.

5. Payments & Escrow

All project payments must go through Sharework Secure Escrow.

Client pays to Escrow → Expert does work → Client approves → We send money to Expert after deducting our 5% within 24-48 hours.

Direct payment outside Sharework is a violation and follows Clause 3.

6. Refunds

• Rs. 49 Registration Fee: Non-refundable.
• Project Payment: If work not started, full refund to Client within 7 days. If work started, refund only for remaining work.
• Disputes must be raised within 7 days with proof from on-platform chat only. Off-platform chat proof will not be accepted.

7. Ownership of Work

After full payment via Escrow, all custom work belongs to Client.

8. What You Cannot Do

You cannot post illegal, abusive, fake, virus, hacking tools, or content that harms others. You cannot post content that belongs to someone else without permission. We can remove that content and restrict the account. Contact sharing and off-platform payment follow Clause 3, including the temporary safety hold and any later permanent block.

9. Data & Security

We collect Name, Email, Phone and project details to run the marketplace. Payments are handled by the secure payment gateway. We do not store card numbers or raw UPI values. Chat safety may keep the redacted records described in the Privacy Policy. We keep data safe with encryption and do not sell it. Chat is checked by an automated system for prohibited contact sharing and off-platform payment.

10. Project Quality - Important

Sharework is only a marketplace to connect Client and Expert. We do not provide tech services ourselves.

• We do not guarantee project success, bug-free code, business results, or uptime.
• Verified badge means Expert passed our basic ID and portfolio check, not that we guarantee their work.
• Quality check, scope, testing is responsibility of Client and Expert. Please check portfolio and use milestone payments.
• Platform is provided as is. We are not liable for any loss due to service provided by Expert.
• Our maximum liability is limited to Rs. 49 or 5% fee for that project.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by laws of India. Courts in Pune will have jurisdiction.

13. Updates

We may update these Terms. Continued use after update means acceptance. When we register as a company, all accounts will automatically move to new entity.
